Watching
What is Telly?
Telly finds Nollywood’s next stars in open auditions, tests them in False Island, and casts the best in original films. Everything we make is only on Telly.
What is on Telly?
Telly Originals, our own shows and films. Films from Telly-trained talent are hosted too. A discovery catalogue also points you to African films on their rights-holders’ official YouTube and AfrolandTV pages, free for everyone.
What is Telly Duo?
Telly Duo lets you and your friends watch in sync, with chat, reactions and voice, wherever you are.
False Island and auditions
What is False Island?
Telly’s open-audition survival show: 20 strangers, one island, eight episodes. The winners become Nollywood’s next stars, and the standouts are cast in six Telly Original films.
Do I need connections to audition?
No. Anyone aged 18 or older can audition on their phone.
Does it cost anything to audition?
No. Telly never charges you to audition. If anyone asks for money in Telly’s name, don’t pay, and tell us.
What should I record?
A 60-second video. Introduce yourself, then tell us about a time you survived something hard.
